About the designer

Tomáš Černý

Tomáš Černý works with porcelain as a space for play, intuition, and imagination. His practice combines traditional ceramics with new technologies such as 3D printing, metal, fabric, and silicone, exploring a visually experimental context through material experimentation.

He studied in Světlá nad Sázavou and continued at the Faculty of Design and Art of Ladislav Sutnar in Plzeň, where he developed his distinctive approach to porcelain at the intersection of design, sculpture, and imagination.

Currently, he works in Plzeň, running his own studio together with Anna Šupolíková, while continuing his independent artistic practice.
