About the designer

Alena Lišková

Alena Lišková bridges the world of technology with an original, authorial approach to porcelain. She works as an arcanist at KeraVitral, where she focuses on the long-term development of porcelain bodies and glazes.

Her series Zvířátko (Little Animal, 2025) was created from the same ceramic units originally designed for architectural cladding. She transforms their rational construction system into a poetic language, where the material takes on a playful character and porcelain comes alive with new energy. Each viewer can imagine their own little animal within these individual objects.
